Directors of the JoAnn Falletta International Guitar Concerto Competition

The Castellani-Andriaccio Duo

The Castellani-Andriaccio Duo is regarded as one of the elite chamber ensembles on the music scene today. After being invited to perform on scholarship to the master classes of Andres Segovia in Spain, they were featured in concert in London, Madrid, Budapest, Rome, Rio de Janeiro and Beijing. They have been featured in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls such as the Smithsonian Institution, the JFK Center for the Performing Arts, Carnegie Recital Hall, the Ateneo de Madrid, the Casa Thomas Jefferson in Brazil, the Sala Casals in San Juan, and the Chautauqua Festival. In addition to receiving a special invitation to perform for President Bill Clinton at the White House, they have served as artistic envoys of the U.S. State Department.

JoAnn Castellani is on the Faculty of the State University of New York at Buffalo and the Buffalo Suzuki School, and both performers are Artists-in-Residence at the Chautauqua Institution and the Guitar in Orvieto Festival.
